I've physically written some details onto personal objects, but as you say it's not easy to impart a lot of useful information in this manner.
[Physical limitations are such a hindrance.]
It would depend on if the files can be made compatible for each other's systems, but as long as that can be resolved it should be possible. I've already interfaced with some foreign software and hardware in the Fleet and didn't experience any major concerns.
It was sheer chance that one of the personal objects it chose to allow me had digital storage.
Oh, we'd not even need file compatibility if it's a simple data dump. But I would prefer a physical connection. It appeared you were able to transmit data with a handshake. Is that correct?
[Though maybe it's for the best that the Atroma hasn't whisked him here with his jury-rigged off the grid tablet that Ben gave him. He would prefer that stay out of range of the Atroma's systems if at all possible.]
Yes, I can transfer data via physical contact with my hands. I just need a receptive counterpart to do so.
If you can show or describe to me the appropriate receptor, I should be able to alter my exterior enough to create it. I can alter the surface of my skin at will.
[He sends the coordinates over, and they soon proceed to share information. Too bad, Atroma, nothing can stand in the way of some determined computing!!]
