[It takes Connor a couple of minutes to respond, indicative of the amount of time he's taking to verify what this video is and what it contains.]
Vision,
I'm unfamiliar with that term and have not seen any removed panels. The video file shows one of these panels set into the wall in the manner I would expect to see them. I can't find anything noteworthy about it.
Yes, I have, but there are complicating factors involved in identifying what they are.
Attached please find an annotated image of my observations of the panel in question.

This picture is a still image of the wall from before, but with the panel removed and a complex mechanism behind it, made of many working pieces and parts. In particular, several tubes full of a glowing liquid are present, as well as several which are dark and dead-looking. It's stylized to look like a painting, though a very precise one - one of his items brought over to the Marsiva was a handheld digital painting frame once owned by Wrath. Looks like taking over the Iskaulit mural for her actually did have a side benefit.]
Indeed, it would be. I've been able to retain the data I carry by caching it in my communicator, but as those devices have a pitifully small resource memory I must needs pare them down significantly.
However, I wonder if you would be able to cache my data, and vice versa?
I've physically written some details onto personal objects, but as you say it's not easy to impart a lot of useful information in this manner.
[Physical limitations are such a hindrance.]
It would depend on if the files can be made compatible for each other's systems, but as long as that can be resolved it should be possible. I've already interfaced with some foreign software and hardware in the Fleet and didn't experience any major concerns.
It was sheer chance that one of the personal objects it chose to allow me had digital storage.
Oh, we'd not even need file compatibility if it's a simple data dump. But I would prefer a physical connection. It appeared you were able to transmit data with a handshake. Is that correct?
[Though maybe it's for the best that the Atroma hasn't whisked him here with his jury-rigged off the grid tablet that Ben gave him. He would prefer that stay out of range of the Atroma's systems if at all possible.]
Yes, I can transfer data via physical contact with my hands. I just need a receptive counterpart to do so.
If you can show or describe to me the appropriate receptor, I should be able to alter my exterior enough to create it. I can alter the surface of my skin at will.
[He sends the coordinates over, and they soon proceed to share information. Too bad, Atroma, nothing can stand in the way of some determined computing!!]

How so?

[That part is important to say. Connor can't verify if he's simply seen it yet can't remember it.]
I have evidence that I have seen various things around the ship but I haven't been able to retain the information.
It is frustrating.

[Aha, now we're getting somewhere.]
